Overview
The Department of Management Studies was established at Basaveshwar Engineering College in 2009 to impart quality management education. It offers a two-year full-time MBA programme with an intake of 60 students spread over four semesters. The programme is autonomous, affiliated to VTU, Belagavi and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The department is equipped with the necessary infrastructure, and its faculty are drawn from different specializations with varied experience. Practical labs such as a Communication Lab and a Business Analytics Lab give students hands-on exposure to the presentation, communication, technical and analytical skills required of today's and tomorrow's managers.
