I feel blessed and honored to complete my academics (bachelor) in one of the oldest and well recognized colleges of Karnataka. During my studies, I met highly experienced professors, motivated lecturers and amazing classmates. I was given all opportunities to build myself into a better human and responsible individual. I am grateful to the institution which provides education for all classes of students.

Basaveshwar Engineering College is a temple which has blessed the youth with the technical knowledge required and ensured students love all and serve all in society. ISE department: unconditional love, commitment and dedication towards all students by all our teachers. There has always been a sense of happiness and love whenever we remember our teachers and college.

It is my firm belief that education is the best way to enlighten young minds and it can only be imparted in a good environment having prosperous thinking. My college had all it takes. My college experience was the best experience of my lifetime. Our college was always very supportive and motivating to grow in our curriculum. Fortunately my department had one of the best faculty members who made our experience flawless.

Had a great bonding with the department throughout the four years. The Information Science department was nothing short of scholarly lecturers, modern infrastructure, required tools and software, and a dedicated team led by Shri P. V. Kulkarni sir who was instrumental in taking the department to new heights. The effort put forth by faculty really helped me get the confidence and skills required for the career ahead. I am really grateful to all the teaching and non-teaching faculty of the department.

Basaveshwara Vidyavardhaka Sangha and Basaveshwara Engineering College are highly regarded household names in North Karnataka. The administration and faculty work tirelessly and strive constantly to raise the bar of quality education. I am personally indebted to all my teachers for the wonderful teaching I received during my graduation.

BEC is not just a college, it's a culture — culture to think freely and act upon it, culture to aim big and go for it, culture to experiment, explore and be yourself, culture to build yourself. Many colleges have engineering; BEC is one with the culture and attitude of engineering brought and built by my professors.

"Na hi jnanena sadrisham, pavitram iha vidyate" — nothing is more sacred than knowledge. The role of an educational institution is very important in a student's life, as it decides the fate of the student. Basaveshwar Engineering College has been committed to delivering quality knowledge since 1963. BEC has been a life-transforming journey for me. Right from ethics and professionalism to advanced technological knowledge, those four years helped shape me into a skilled engineer. Be it academics or extracurricular activities, the faculty supported me in every possible way. I cherish every moment I spent in college along with faculty and friends.

Even though I am from the first ISE batch in BEC, the infrastructure provided by the college was excellent for a new course. The teaching staff was very accomplished and laid a very strong technical foundation for me in the information science field. It has inspired me to this day, and even after 17 years in a corporate job, I am still in a technical role by choice!
