A professional association started in the department in 2020 that sponsors and supports students to conduct conferences, seminars, symposia, exhibitions and lectures, and encourages research in microbiology. All faculty are life members and around 80% of students are members.
BT-Zillion
The department's student association, established in 2007, through which students organise extracurricular and co-curricular activities, participate in technical workshops, seminars and conferences, and conduct an annual intra-college technical fest.
