Welcome to ECE at BEC. Since 1985, we've evolved from teaching basic circuits to advancing work in VLSI design, speech processing, wireless networks, MEMS, and emerging areas of electronics. Our students learn by building, experimenting, and questioning—because engineering is best understood through practice. We expect commitment, curiosity, and initiative, and in return, our faculty provide the guidance and support needed to grow. This department is yours to build—and we'll hold you to that trust.

- Research strengths in communications, signal processing, microelectronics and RF/photonics.
- Ph.D. research centre recognised by VTU Belagavi and Government of India QIP scheme.
- Exclusive computing facility with CADENCE VLSI, ECAD and Verilog simulation/synthesis tools.
